Castello di Grillano is the wine farm of our family since 1935 dedicated to the production of organic wine, surrounded by greenery of the vineyards of Alto Monferrato Ovadese. The vineyards and the cellar of property, along with the park with pool on several levels and the Guest House, constitute a kind of village characterizing the habitation of the homonymous fraction of Ovada.

The tour will be guided by the producer Francesco and will begin on the panoramic terrace overlooking the own vineyards and the valley.
Francesco will illustrate the principles of our organic production and how these impacts - from small to large choices - throughout the production process wine: from the vineyard, to the cellar, to the table. Francesco will speak to you in
particular importance that we give to optimal use of soil:

the real winegrower’s resource.

The visit will then continue in the cellar to see the different barrels that we use for the vinification and aging of wines: from the barrels in concrete to steel ones to wood ones.

Finally, there will be the tasting of five-ten wines, accompanied by breadsticks, salami, small cheese with "cugnà" grape mostarda and grana padano with chestnut honey.
